Mind It!
The mind is possibly the strongest independent device that has been in man's possession since the dawn of mankind. One little brain can create a wave of change in the entire world. One mere mortal with no extra super powers can control an entire nation just by the power of his brain.
Coming down to an individual level, the mind processes a million thoughts in a day.The mind is an abyss of opportunities, talents and great ideas which we often fail to recognize.Every individual has the power to change the world,it just depends on how much they trust their own mind.
How often does it happen that one comes up with a great idea, but does not execute it because they do not find it good enough or maybe because others mocked it and proved it useless? With another scrapped idea goes another opportunity to prove one's mettle and another chance to increase our trust in ourself.
As children we had great ideas and big dreams. We dreamt of travelling to the moon or flying or jumping from one building to another and so on.The world was a big ground of opportunities and unfamiliar things we were excited to know about. Our dreams were limitless. They were not bound by the shackles of the worlds ideals.
While growing up,we were taught to follow the protocol of the world and were limited in many ways and were forced to call ourselves free.We are told that many things are impossible and are called crazy if we think of something extra-ordinary.
Slowly,we learn the ways of the world and mould ourselves into a prototype of a "unique" person. We stop seeing opportunities the way we did as a child and bind our imagination. We try our best to be extraordinary in a normal way and live our life closing the pandoras box of endless strength that our mind possesses.
All we need to do to release the free child in us is to realize that it is not wrong to make mistakes. After all, good or bad, every experience teaches us something vital in life.We should learn to respect the vastness of our mind and use it as much as we can.We should learn to break the bubble of ideas and thoughts in our mind and let the world benefit from it.
"A man's mind is stretched by a new idea or sensation, and never shrinks back to its former dimensions"
-Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.
