Mom! Dad! Stop it!
Parents and children share a very special kind of relationship. This relationship is unlike any other.Parents know their children very well and are familiar with each and every action of their child. They love their children immensely and always want them to be happy.
I have been blessed with an amazing mother who plays the role of both parents for me.I never feel the absence of a father as my mother is enough to cover up that spot for me.She is an independent woman who has had a lot of experience in life and is not afraid of the world.
She is street smart and is respected by the people who know her.She cannot bear lies and never looks back at people who break her trust.I am very much aware of how much she has experienced and always take her guidance and advice and will continue doing so.
Many a times I have heard my friends say that they get irritated when their parents question them about their studies, friends, school or the people around them. They feel that their parents are trying to interfere in their personal lives.
At times,it is hard to accept the advice our parents give when they restrict us from doing something we really wanted to do or when they keeping nagging us to study more and stay away from our gadgets.
No matter how much we hate it,we should understand that our parents have more experience in life than us and their advice could be very helpful to us.Sometimes,or maybe most of the time we get angry at them for taking away our gadgets when we don't listen to what they say.
However, one thing we fail to understand is that,at times of need the number of friends we have on Facebook or the numbers of followers we have on Twitter will be of no use to us.
The only thing that will be with us at that time is our knowledge and our experience, and the easiest way to gain knowledge is to listen to our parents. Our parents are our first teachers. They will remain our guides till the end of their life.
Our happiness means the world to them and whatever advice they give us,is for our own good. There is no way we can repay all that our parents do for us,but what we could do is express our gratitude for everything they have done for us from the day of our birth and ask forgiveness for all the times we have been mean to them and love and cherish them forever....and why not start now?
